Brief about Self:
Ampaire Anne is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Educational, Social and Organizational Psychology, School of Psychology, Makerere University-Kampala. She is currently a member and Chair of the Departmental Committee tasked to write the Guidelines for Proposal and Dissertation Writing for Students and Supervisors. She is also a member for both Departmental and School Higher Degrees Committees. Anne lectures and supervises both graduate and undergraduate students of BIOP, BASS, BA and BSC (Education), BED External, PGDE, ECD and MEEP. In terms of study areas, She has taught Guidance and Counseling, Introduction to Psychology, Special Needs Education and Inclusion, Human Learning and Cognition, Psychology of Human Growth and Development, Psychology in Education and Development, Early Childhood Development, among others.
Research Interests:
She is an Educational Psychologist with research interests in Career Guidance, Career Choice Development, Gender Equality in STEM Fields, Sociocultural Studies, Women and Girl Empowerment.
