About Me: 

EBOYU Francis is currently an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Educational, Social and Organizational Psychology at Makerere University Kampala. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree 3.1.1. Psychology from Makerere University Kampala and then his Master’s degrees in Organizational Psychology from Makerere University. He previously worked as a Labour Officer – Industrial Relations in the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development before gaining appointment as a teaching assistant in the of Educational, Social and Organizational Psychology and later assistant lecturer. Francis has recently submitted his PhD thesis for examination in Makerere University.
Eboyu Francis lectures and supervises undergraduate students of BIOP, BASS, BA Arts, BLIS, in addition to Master of Organizational Psychology students in the College of Humanities and Social sciences. He broadly lectures Industrial Relations psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Management and Decision Making, and Occupational Counselling and Career Development. He is hence a consultant in the areas lectured in addition to being an instructor, reader and researcher.

Other responsibilities: 
Francis Eboyu is the pioneer School of Psychology internship coordinator who previously coordinated the bachelor of Industrial and organizational Psychology program. He is a department member of the space allocation committee. In addition, he is involved in research and fieldwork supervision, undertaking individual and collaborative research projects, collaborating with other academics and lecturers to introduce active learning teaching approach to enable students mix theory and practice.

Research Interest: 
Eboyu Francis is broadly interested in sociocultural approaches to learning and performance that consider learning to be a social process. Eboyu is interested in decision making and creative performance among learners and employed individuals.  His other areas of interest include industrial relations among individuals and groups in the workplace. Francis is a committed, Psychologist, sociocultural researcher and has passion in community work, performance and learning.
