About Me: 

Khamisi Musanje is currently a doctoral fellow in the College of Health Sciences at Makerere University where his research work is about applying a basic psychology method of mindfulness and acceptance to improve wellbeing. Working as an Assistant Lecturer in the School of Psychology, Musanje joined Makerere University is 2011 as a teaching assistant after graduating as the pioneer first class degree holder in the Bachelors of Industrial and Organizational Psychology. His multi-disciplinary approach to academics and research has seen Musanje teach several courses units at Makerere University notable of which include; Training and development, Personality and Work, Interpersonal and communication skills, Benefits and Compensation Management, Performance Management, Behavioral health and Conflict and negotiation management. Musanje has won over 7 research grants, presented abstracts at world and regional conferences and established collaborations at both local and international levels with the most outstanding being with the University of Ghent-Belgium, University of California San Francisco, City University of London and Queens University-Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Research Interests: Mindfulness and Acceptance research, Adaptation of psychosocial interventions, HIV AIDS, Personality research and Occupational Health and Safety.
